Best Rebate Credit Card in Singapore 2021: Citi Cash Back
Let’s cut right to the chase—the best rebate credit card you should sign up for in Singapore this year is the Citi Cash Back card. It’s right there in the name, after all!
With this rebate credit card, you can save tons of money when you do your groceries, get petrol, or go out to restaurants. The Citi Cash Back card offers 8% cashback for the first 2 things and 6% cashback for dining out. This includes things like restaurants, caterers, and even fast food joints.
To get these perks, you need to spend at least $800 a month. Also, your cashback rewards are capped at $80 per month. So if you already spend over $800 a month on groceries, petrol, and dining out, then you’ll be doing yourself a favor and saving a bit of cash if you carry out transactions with this card.
An added perk is when you sign up, you’ll get a 1-year annual fee waiver.
But what if you don’t really fancy this credit card? Not to worry! We’re here with a few viable alternatives just in case this card isn’t your cup of tea!
First up on our list of alternatives to the Citi Cash Back card is the OCBC 365 credit card. This card is best used on dining, although it offers some pretty good benefits for general spending as well.
When you dine out or order food online, this card will give you 6% cashback. And whenever you fuel up and pay with this rebate credit card, you’ll get 5% cashback (up to 23% at Caltex!). Lastly, 3% cashback is available when you swipe for groceries, utilities, online travel, and transport services.
Just like with the Citi Cash Back card, you’ll have to spend at least $800 per month to get these great cashback rates. If you don’t hit that minimum, then the rate is just 0.3%. And again, like the Citi Card credit card, you’ll have a cashback cap of $80 per month.
The OCBC 365 has a better waiver when it comes to annual fees. Instead of 1 year, they’ll waive 2 years when you sign up.
CIMB Visa Signature Card
For those of you who spend your cash in various places, maybe you’re looking for a rebate credit card that’ll allow you to save all across the board. So get yourself the CIMB Visa Signature Card!

You’re probably expecting a high minimum spend for these high cashback rates, but you’ll be shocked here. There’s only a minimum spend of $800 per month! As far as the cashback caps go, they’re $20 per category.
Another huge selling point of the CIMB Visa Signature Card is that there are no annuals fees forever! So you’ll never have to worry about paying to use a credit card if you choose this one.
DBS Live Fresh
What if you do a crazy amount of online shopping? Or maybe you love in-person shopping but hate to fumble with cards in your wallet.
The DBS Live Fresh rebate card will get you up to 5% cashback on those types of transactions. What’s great is, that includes SimplyGo rides!
If you felt like the $800 minimum spend limits were high for the other cards, then we have good news for you. This rebate credit card has a lower requirement of $600 per month.
However, the drawback is there’s a lower cap for cashback rewards. You’ll only get $20 for online purchases, $20 for Visa contactless transactions, and $20 for everything else.
This card will give you a 1-year annual fee waiver, which is on par with the previous cards.
UOB YOLO Card
Are you a party animal? Do you enjoy swiping your cards often, especially during the weekends?
Then get yourself a UOB YOLO Card! This rebate credit card is optimal for partying and entertainment, as well as online shopping and dining out.
You’ll enjoy 8% cashback for weekend spending. A card that rewards you for partying during the weekend? Heck yes!
This 8% cashback is good for entertainment, dining, and Grab. Otherwise, if you’re swiping during the weekdays, you’ll get 3% cashback, which includes travel and online fashion.
The UOB YOLO Card also has a smaller minimum spend of $600 per month. It does have a lower cashback cap of $60 per month though.
As with most of the other cards on this list, this one has a 1-year annual fee waiver.
